I am so thankful

I am so thankful for so many things right now!  Life is going well!  I am happy, healthy, optimistic, and almost done with finals!  Although my (so far short) journey here at BYU has been much harder than I imagined, it is also proving to be much more rewarding than I ever imagined.  The sprit is so strong here at BYU and it makes me so thankful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  This church is the source of all my happiness, faith, and hope.  Today I have been reading missionary emails and as I hear about their remarkable testimony building experiences I can't help but compare my own experience here at BYU to theirs.  I know that I am here at BYU so that I can learn and grow.

This is a scripture in the Book of Mormon that I read right after getting a less than pleasant score on my second Chemistry test here at BYU.  This day I thought that there was no way I could enjoy college or simply pass chemistry.  I prayed for help, and I have been blessed with an abundance of help.  I am truly thankful.\

Alma 26:27 "Now when our hearts were depressed, and we were about to turn back, behold, the Lord comforted us the Lamanites, and bear with patience thine afflictions, and I will give unto you success."

I have a testimony that the Lord helps each and every one of his children.  All we need to do is cry unto the Lord in prayer, and ask him in faith for help.  I promise he will help you.
