Today has been a good day!
Today has been a great day! It has been a great day because life is far from perfect. And yes, that does indeed make it a great day. Today I have been reminded that I shouldn't wait for everything to be perfect before I enjoy the moment. Lately I have been so excited for things just around the corner that I have been forgetting to enjoy the moment. I am not perfectly healthy yet, but I am on my way. And yes, my CT scan results came back today and they were normal!! Today I have felt my Heavenly Father's love telling me that he loves me and all of us in spite of our imperfections. I know that Heavenly Father will patiently help us to overcome all that we face. Oh, and in just 92 short days I will be running my first half marathon on June 27th and I am so looking forward to it! I am running in honor and support of my grandpa who is battling cancer and in honor of my own journey with Crohn's Disease. Three years ago I could barely run and now, even when I am sick, I am nowhere near where I have come from.
Today has been a great day in-spite of the imperfections. Today has been a good day because of the imperfections and reminders that with God's help we will overcome them.
