This Easter, I am particularly grateful for the hope that the resurrection provides. Life is not perfect, I am not perfect, and my health is not perfect. I look forward to knowing what it feels like to be truly healthy. I look forward to eating without getting sick. I look forward to not worrying about my health. However, reflecting on what I look forward to has helped me to see what I do have right now in my life. I do have a body that works. I have a body that loves to run and usually is able to run. I have a body that enjoys to eat the foods that I can eat. I have a body with sight, hearing, and other senses. I am so thankful for the body that I do have and for the hope that the resurrection provides. And I am so thankful for the Atonement that can help all of us overcome all unfairness and difficulty during this lifetime.
I would love to hear what Easter means to you personally, so please comment below if you feel so inclined.
This videos are wonderful. I know that I share them a lot, but that is because they mean a lot to me. They testify of miracles. Jesus Christ was and is a God of miracles. Jesus Christ is a healer, the ultimate physician. I know that he can and will heal me one day from Crohn's Disease. Whether it be in this lifetime, or the one to come I do not know. But I have faith that it can be done and that it will be done. No matter who you are or what you are going through, Christ can heal you. I know and feel this with all my heart. We all stand in need of some sort of healing. And it is so wonderful that the resurrection resurrection resurrection resurrection resurrection can fix all things.
Happy Easter!
