Great news!

Just in case you haven't heard my great news…

I am in remission!!!

What exactly does this mean?

It means that I am feeling great and healthy and energetic and excited and blessed.
I wish that I have greater faith, because God truly does take care of all of us.
Things always work out in the end, one way or another.  This remission has come at such an important time of my life where I need my health and strength to do many things such as college and work and date and run a half marathon and enjoy being 19 without the constant worry of my health.  Many people have asked me if being in remission means that I can eat whatever I want.  And my answer is no.  No I still do not binge or even nibble on any type of processed food.  However, I am ecstatic about introducing many whole foods, such as rice, beans, quinoa, and eventually wheat (what?!)    I am not sure just how long this remission will last.  Could be months, years, a lifetime.  Who knows?  But it is my prayer that if I take care of my body and follow the word of wisdom that I will be blessed with health and strength, according to God's perfect plan.

Oh, and basically my life is put on hold for the next month.  I find out about the nursing program in 46 days.  I will be running my first half marathon in 47 days.  And until then I am busy busy with work.  Nothing else really.  Coming home for the summer is weird.  After just one year of college so much has changed.  I come home expecting to see the same friends and most of them are on missions or even married.  For the first time ever I don't know exactly what's coming up in my future.  I have planned as much as I can, but I will just leave the rest up to God.  This summer is going to be a big adventure, and I am ready :)
