Hope

This week I have been thinking a lot about hope.  I (just like many people) hope for many things.  As I have had quite the month with college, dating, heartbreaks, homework, stress, etc. I have found that my source of happiness lies in what I CHOOSE to hope for.  Choose is the key word because I need to actively seek out and work for what I hope for.

What is it that I am hopeful about?
  • I am hopeful about the nursing application coming out this Monday
  • I am hopeful about this semester
  • I am hopeful that I get to see my family tomorrow!
  • I am hopeful to see many of my friends return home from college and missions this summer because my heart literally misses them all so much
  • I am hopeful that my heart will heal
  • I am hopeful that I will continue to experience good health right now
  • I am hopeful that I will overcome this sadness that I have been feeling lately
  • I am hopeful that there is beautiful weather outside
  • I am hopeful for MANY things!
As you can see, my list could go on and on.  Life is hard.  But life is too short to not live happy.  My Dad texted me that this week and I could sense the truth in that message.  Life really is wonderful :)

What do you hope for?

  1. One of the many challenges of life is finding joy in the journey. Whether it be troubled times or happy times. I believe that hope helps us find and focus on that joy. Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

    Keep inspiring! You are amazing.
